Classic tone, majestic style, and unmatched craftsmanship come together in the Gretsch G6136-55 Vintage Select Edition '55 Falcon—a dream guitar that’s now available at Haggerty’s Music with a deluxe hardshell case included. Originally envisioned by Gretsch designer Jimmie Webster in 1955, this reissue honors the iconic White Falcon with period-correct detail and upgraded performance. The 2.75"-deep hollow maple body features a solid spruce top with parallel tone bar bracing, offering exceptional resonance and clarity with impressive projection. A gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Vintage White adds a luxurious sheen that perfectly complements the gold sparkle binding, jeweled arrow knobs, and gold hardware.

Powering the Falcon’s vintage-voiced sound are a pair of TV Jones® T-Armond™ pickups—single-coils known for their sparkling articulation and tonal depth. The Squeezebox tone capacitor enhances treble response and tonal transparency, while the Synchro-Sonic™ bridge delivers accurate intonation and authentic ‘50s character. The standard "U" profile maple neck features a 12” radius ebony fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and ornate mother-of-pearl Hump Block inlays with feather engravings. Finished off with the iconic Cadillac "G" tailpiece, thick gold plexi pickguard, and Grover® Imperial™ tuners, the G6136-55 is a “Holy Grail” guitar in tone, style, and soul.
