Johnny Marr, renowned for his dynamic and innovative guitar work, collaborated with Fender to create a distinctively modified 1965 Jaguar® tailored to his personal specifications. The Johnny Marr Jaguar is designed for players seeking unique tonal versatility and enhanced playability.

This guitar features dual custom-wound Bare Knuckle® Johnny Marr single-coil pickups, providing articulate and incisive tones ideal for cutting through any mix. A four-position blade pickup switch offers a range of sonic possibilities, including a series wiring option for a thicker, higher-output tone. The upper-horn slide switches allow for precise tonal adjustments, rolling off the low end either universally or in position four.

The maple neck sports a custom profile based on Marr’s original guitar, a 7.25"-radius rosewood fingerboard, and 22 vintage-style frets, ensuring smooth and comfortable playability. The modified Jaguar bridge includes Mustang® saddles and nylon post inserts for improved tuning stability, while the floating tremolo tailpiece features a taller tremolo arm with a nylon sleeve insert to keep it in place.

Finished in Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer, this Jaguar will age naturally, reflecting the player’s style over time. A perfect fusion of vintage aesthetics and modern refinements, the Johnny Marr Jaguar is a versatile instrument built for discerning guitarists. This guitar includes a vintage-style hardshell case for ultimate protection.
