Now available at Haggerty's Music, the EVH SA-126 Special redefines what a modern guitar can be in the 21st century. Created by Wolfgang Van Halen, this guitar combines semi-hollow and solid body construction, blending the best of both worlds with a chambered body and basswood center block for added stability and tonal depth. The SA-126 is built for versatility, offering the perfect balance between hard-hitting rhythm tones and blazing fast lead runs.

The SA-126 features a chambered Mahogany body with a basswood center block for extra stability and a rich, resonant tone. The maple top is finished in solid colors or quilt maple for transparent finishes, all with 5-ply body binding that enhances both the aesthetic and acoustic qualities. The neck is constructed from graphite-reinforced Mahogany, offering a 22-fret, compound-radius Ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays. With a scale length of 24.75", it feels like a comfortable yet modern classic. Plus, it includes a spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the butt end of the neck for quick, on-the-fly adjustments.

Pickups and Electronics
The SA-126 is equipped with custom bridge and neck pickups, designed by Fender’s legendary Tim Shaw in collaboration with the EVH team. These pickups can deliver anything from shimmering, glassy cleans to intense, saturated overdrive, offering versatility for any playing style. With a three-way toggle switch (bridge, bridge and neck, neck pickups) and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, the SA-126 provides precise control over your sound.

Hardware and Features
The guitar features a Harmonica bridge and stop bar tailpiece for sustain and tuning stability, while oversized strap buttons ensure your guitar stays secure, even during the most intense performances. The keystone tuning pegs offer smooth and reliable tuning adjustments.

Case
Each SA-126 comes with a custom hardshell case wrapped in ivory vinyl and featuring a blue crushed velvet interior to keep your instrument safe and stylish on the go.
