The Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T in Hot Merlot draws inspiration from classic café racer design, pairing vintage attitude with modern playability. Its chambered mahogany body with a maple cap keeps the guitar lightweight and resonant, while the deep gloss finish highlights the Revstar’s distinctive, muscular shape. A carbon-reinforced mahogany neck adds long-term stability and strength, finished in satin for a smooth, fast feel in the hand. With a 24.75" scale length, 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, this guitar offers a comfortable, familiar playing experience that feels immediately broken in.

Tonally, the RSS02T delivers a wide range of sounds thanks to its dual VP5n Alnico V P-90–style single-coil pickups. The 5-way pickup selector opens up everything from clear, articulate cleans to gritty, punchy overdrive, while Yamaha’s passive Focus switch boosts mids and low end for a thicker, more powerful voice without active electronics. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with racing-style tailpiece, chrome hardware, and die-cast tuners provides solid tuning stability and sustain.
