The Yamaha FGX800C carries on a legacy that has earned the trust of musicians for decades, offering the kind of dependable performance that feels just as comfortable around a campfire as it does under stage lights. Built around a solid spruce top, this dreadnought delivers a full, balanced voice with plenty of projection, while the nato and okoume back and sides add warmth and depth that only gets better the more you play. It’s the kind of guitar that invites you to keep reaching for one more song.
Designed with versatility in mind, the FGX800C is ready for whatever the gig calls for. The comfortable cutaway gives you easy access to the upper frets for expressive lead work, while Yamaha’s under-saddle piezo pickup and System-66 preamp faithfully capture the guitar’s natural acoustic character when it’s time to plug in. Whether you’re playing solo, leading worship, recording your next project, or performing with a full band, it delivers a clear, dynamic sound you can count on.
Comfortable in the hands and inspiring to the ears, the FGX800C offers the kind of quality and craftsmanship that has made the FG Series a favorite of players around the world since 1966. With its smooth-playing neck, responsive feel, and rich, resonant voice, it’s an instrument that encourages you to play longer and create more. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
