The Yamaha Clavinova CLP885B in black invites you into a playing experience that feels less like a digital instrument and more like sitting down at a finely crafted grand piano. From the moment your hands meet the keys, the GrandTouch keyboard with wooden construction and escapement delivers a nuanced, responsive feel that mirrors the subtle resistance and return of an acoustic action. Every detail, from the counterweighted keys to the GP Response Damper pedal, is designed to translate your touch into expressive control, making even the quietest passages feel intentional and alive. Available at Haggerty’s Music, this instrument is built for players who want authenticity without compromise.

As you begin to play, the sound opens up in a way that fills the room with depth and character. The CLP885B features binaurally sampled voices from Yamaha’s CFX and Bösendorfer concert grands, paired with Virtual Resonance Modeling and Grand Expression Modeling to recreate the complex interactions of strings, soundboard, and cabinet. The result is a tone that evolves with your dynamics, offering everything from delicate pianissimo to powerful, resonant fortissimo. A multi-speaker system with diffuser technology surrounds you in immersive sound, creating the sensation that the music is not just coming from the instrument, but living within the space.

Beyond its sound and touch, the CLP885B blends modern innovation seamlessly into a timeless design. Its elegant upright cabinet, finished in sleek black, houses a discreet touch LCD interface that stays hidden until needed, preserving the instrument’s classic appearance. Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app allow you to explore built-in lessons, control settings, and interact with your music library in intuitive ways. Whether you’re practicing late at night with headphones or performing for a room full of listeners, this piano adapts effortlessly to your lifestyle.

The Yamaha Clavinova CLP885B is more than a digital piano—it’s a centerpiece for your home and your musical journey. Designed for everyone from advancing students to seasoned pianists, it offers a level of realism and refinement that inspires longer practice sessions and deeper connection to your music. When you’re ready to bring that experience into your own space, you can find the CLP885B waiting for you at Haggerty’s Music, where exceptional instruments meet knowledgeable guidance.
