The Warwick RockBass Star Bass Fretless blends the unmistakable vibe of a vintage semi-hollow bass with Warwick’s modern engineering and craftsmanship. Inspired by classic hollowbody bass designs of the 1960s, the Star Bass has become one of Warwick’s most distinctive models, known for its warm resonance, elegant aesthetics, and expressive tone. This fretless version takes that formula even further, offering smooth, vocal-like articulation and the unmistakable singing sustain that fretless players love.

Its laminated maple body construction gives the bass an airy, resonant character while still maintaining definition and clarity. The 32" medium scale length strikes a perfect balance between the tight response of a long scale and the comfortable playability of a shorter instrument. A three-piece laminated maple neck reinforced with carbon bars provides excellent stability, while the tigerstripe ebony fretless fingerboard delivers a smooth playing surface with strong attack and clarity — ideal for expressive slides, vibrato, and nuanced dynamics.
