Most glass slides are either too light to produce good tone or too bulky to play comfortably. The Rock Slide solves the three most common problems guitarists face:

• Tapered Interior (The End of the Wobble): Standard slides are snug at the knuckle but loose everywhere else. The Rock Slide’s interior is carved to taper down your finger, ensuring a snug feel all the way through for maximum stability and zero "wiggle room."
• Massive Sustain with Thicker Walls: Because of the internal taper, these slides feature incredibly thick walls—up to 6-8mm at the fingertip. This extra mass acts like a gain knob, lighting up your acoustic strings and providing a "sweet spot" for killer lead playing on electrics.
