Some instruments are designed to celebrate where a company has been while demonstrating just how far its craftsmanship has evolved. Available at Haggerty's Music, this One-of-a-Kind Taylor Legacy 910e Special Edition is exactly that: A masterfully built Custom Shop creation that pays tribute to Taylor's heritage while showcasing many of the refinements that have made the company one of the world's premier acoustic guitar builders. Built as a unique, one-of-a-kind instrument, this Legacy model combines timeless aesthetics with carefully selected premium tonewoods and modern construction techniques, resulting in a guitar that is as collectible as it is inspiring to play.
Its distinctive short-scale Tapered Dreadnought body offers a fresh take on one of the most iconic acoustic shapes ever designed. While retaining the powerful projection and authoritative bass response associated with a traditional dreadnought, the tapered body and 24.875-inch scale length create a more intimate, responsive playing experience with reduced string tension and exceptional comfort. A premium Engelmann spruce top is paired with beautifully figured Indian rosewood back and sides, producing the classic rosewood-and-spruce voice players have treasured for generations: deep, piano-like bass, sparkling trebles, rich harmonic overtones, and remarkable balance across the entire frequency spectrum. Taylor's Custom bracing further enhances sustain, responsiveness, and dynamic range, making this guitar equally expressive under a delicate touch or a heavy flatpick.
Whether you're accompanying vocals, recording in the studio, performing on stage, or exploring intricate fingerstyle arrangements, the Legacy 910e delivers effortless versatility. The shorter scale length lends a slightly warmer, sweeter response while making bends, vibrato, and extended playing sessions noticeably easier on the hands. Elegant appointments, including Indian rosewood binding, stunning Cindy inlays crafted from mother-of-pearl and green abalone, an ebony bridge with matching green abalone-dotted bridge pins, and the rich Heritage Sunburst finish, create an understated yet unmistakably luxurious appearance befitting a true Custom Shop instrument.
Completing this exceptional package is the trusted L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup system, providing natural, articulate amplified tone with discreet onboard volume and tone controls that faithfully preserve the guitar's rich acoustic character. Gold Taylor die-cast tuners ensure excellent tuning stability, while the premium Taylor Deluxe hardshell case provides first-class protection wherever your music takes you. For players seeking a boutique-level Taylor that blends historic inspiration, refined appointments, and extraordinary musicality, this One-of-a-Kind Legacy 910e Special Edition stands among the finest acoustic guitars Taylor has produced.
