The Taylor 714e Sunburst with firestripe pickguard brings together time-honored tonewoods and modern refinements in a guitar that’s as inspiring to play as it is to look at. Its solid Indian rosewood back and sides, paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, produce a lush tonal palette—rosewood’s signature depth and sparkle matched with the warmth and responsiveness of a seasoned spruce soundboard. Taylor’s fanned V-Class bracing further enhances the guitar’s balance and sustain, giving players a wide dynamic range and impressive clarity across the register. Every detail has been thoughtfully executed, from the Honduran rosewood “Curve Wing” bridge and Indian rosewood pins to the West African Crelicam ebony fretboard, offering a playing experience that’s both comfortable and refined.

Visually, the 714e makes a powerful statement with its golden-brown sunburst top framed by cream body binding and highlighted with black/white/black purfling.
