The Taylor Custom #C0022 Gold Label Super Auditorium is the kind of custom build that stops players in their tracks before a single note is even played. Built around Taylor’s larger Super Auditorium body shape, it offers a little more air movement and low-end presence than a traditional Grand Auditorium while still keeping the balance and articulation Taylor players love. Every inch of this guitar feels elevated, from the gloss-finished Adirondack spruce top to the dramatically figured Hawaiian koa back and sides with their rich shaded edgeburst and deeply textured grain patterns that almost look three-dimensional under the light.

The Gold Label appointments on this custom are nothing short of stunning. Mother-of-pearl and Hawaiian koa S-Curve inlays flow beautifully across the ebony fingerboard, perfectly matched by the bound soundhole rosette for an incredibly cohesive visual design. The figured koa binding ties the entire instrument together, while the engraved ivoroid and tortoise pickguard adds a subtle boutique touch that feels distinctly custom shop. Even the smallest details stand out, including the stained bone bridge pins with red Australian opal dots and the elegant cursive Taylor logo inlay on the ebony headstock veneer.
