Born from a special collaboration with Bob Taylor, this custom Gold Label set combines an exquisite, all Master Koa guitar with a seamlessly matched Circa ’74 amplifier. A Wood Library Masterpiece

To create a work of art of this magnitude, we utilized the most exquisite examples of Hawaiian Koa available—sourced directly from Bob Taylor's personal wood library. Because we wanted this instrument to be exceedingly rare, we requested an incredibly difficult-to-source all-koa neck. Finding koa structurally suited for a neck is a monumental task, but the cohesive tonal character, smooth organic feel, and breathtaking aesthetic made the wait absolutely worth it.

In a special collaboration with Bob Taylor, We proudly present this masterpiece that has been over a year in the making. Using wood sourced from Bob's own wood library, we wanted to create a work of art that blended the most exquisite examples of Koa we could find for this combo. Because we wanted this to be rare, and exclusive, we asked for this to be made with an all Koa neck. It is so rare to come across koa that works for this, that between sourcing the wood, and case build, and construction of the guitar, this unit has been a project that has absolutely been worth the wait. 

The special hard case is finished with Bob's own creation, "bourbon burst" tweed.
