The Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce LTD Macassar Ebony Acoustic/Electric Guitar represents the pinnacle of modern acoustic craftsmanship, blending rare tonewoods, refined comfort, and cutting-edge innovation into one unforgettable instrument. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this limited-edition Grand Auditorium is designed to inspire from the first chord, whether you're writing in a quiet room or commanding a live stage. Its striking Macassar ebony back and sides showcase dramatic striping and deliver a bold, piano-like voice, while the Adirondack spruce top provides exceptional headroom, projection, and dynamic clarity.
Sonically, this guitar offers a deeply expressive tonal palette with powerful low-end response, shimmering trebles, and a beautifully balanced midrange that adapts effortlessly to your playing style. Taylor’s V-Class bracing enhances volume, sustain, and harmonic consistency, allowing notes to bloom with clarity across the entire fretboard. Whether you’re fingerpicking intricate passages or strumming with authority, the 814ce LTD responds with precision and musicality, giving every performance a sense of depth and presence.
The Builder’s Edition philosophy shines through in every contour. A beveled armrest, chamfered edges, and sculpted cutaway create an exceptionally comfortable playing experience, making long sessions feel effortless. Premium appointments such as the neo-tropical mahogany neck, West African ebony fretboard, and ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuners ensure smooth playability and rock-solid tuning stability. The Claria pickup system faithfully captures the guitar’s natural voice when plugged in, delivering studio-quality tone whether you're on stage or in the studio.
Visually, the Kona edgeburst finish, ebony Curve Wing bridge, and elegant abalone accents elevate this guitar into true collector territory, while the included deluxe hardshell case protects your investment wherever music takes you. Available at Haggerty’s Music, the Taylor Builder’s Edition 814ce LTD Macassar Ebony is more than a guitar—it’s a lifelong creative partner, crafted for players who demand exceptional tone, comfort, and beauty in every detail.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
