Designed to help players achieve peak performance and tonal richness, the Builder’s Edition 814ce from Taylor blends cutting-edge acoustic engineering with premium tonewoods and luxurious comfort enhancements—available now at Haggerty’s Music. This Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric showcases a top of solid Adirondack spruce paired with Honduran rosewood back and sides, yielding an articulate yet full-bodied sound with deep resonance, clear highs, and a warm, open low end. The Adirondack spruce top adds dynamic headroom and projection ideal for players with a more aggressive attack, while Taylor's patented V-Class bracing boosts volume, sustain, and tonal consistency across the fretboard.

Ergonomic player-friendly features abound, including a beveled mahogany armrest, chamfered body edges, and a smooth Venetian cutaway for upper-fret access. The gloss-finished body is visually enhanced with a shaded edgeburst on top and a Kona edgeburst on the back and sides, making this model as beautiful as it is responsive.
