Imagine picking up a guitar that feels like an old friend the moment your fingers touch its smooth ebony fingerboard. The Taylor BT2 Baby Taylor acoustic is a musical companion designed to inspire, from first chord to rich, ringing melody. Built with a solid neo-tropical mahogany top that delivers warm, focused tone and layered sapele back and sides for rugged durability, this three-quarter-size guitar balances portability and rich sonic character perfectly. Whether you’re a beginner finding your sound or an experienced player seeking a travel-ready instrument, the BT2’s comfortable 22-3/4" scale length and slender neck profile make forming chords and moving around the fretboard a joy. The included structured gig bag keeps your guitar safe on the road or on the way to your next jam session.
Every detail of the BT2 is crafted with approachable playability and expressive tone in mind. Its classic dreadnought silhouette whispers of campfire sing-alongs and late-night songwriting, yet punches well above its size with a surprisingly full voice. Die-cast chrome tuners and a Nubone nut ensure steady tuning and responsive feel, and the matte natural finish highlights the beauty of the mahogany grain. From cozy beginner lessons to life on the go, this guitar doesn’t just play; it invites you to create. Visit Haggerty’s Music to experience its charm and take home a compact acoustic that sounds larger than life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
