The Taylor Ben Harper Gold Label 512e Special Edition is a guitar born from collaboration, craftsmanship, and a shared passion for expressive music. Inspired by the award-winning singer-songwriter's longtime relationship with Taylor, this special edition blends vintage-inspired style with modern innovation in a compact Grand Concert body that's remarkably comfortable to play. From intimate fingerstyle performances to dynamic vocal accompaniment, it delivers an inspiring playing experience with warmth, clarity, and unmistakable personality.
Solid mahogany back and sides paired with a torrefied spruce top produce a rich, woody voice with focused mids, articulate highs, and a sweetness that feels beautifully seasoned from the very first strum. Taylor's fanned V-Class bracing adds greater projection, longer sustain, and impressive low-end depth, while the Action Control Neck offers exceptional comfort and easy adjustability. Elegant appointments, including a Honduran rosewood fingerboard and headstock veneer, Crest inlays, cream binding, polished bronze tuners, and the custom golden-brown shaded edgeburst finish developed with Ben Harper, give this guitar a timeless look that perfectly complements its inspiring tone.
Whether you're writing songs, performing on stage, or recording in the studio, the Ben Harper Gold Label 512e Special Edition is built to bring every performance to life. The Claria pickup system faithfully captures its natural acoustic character whenever you plug in, making it just as capable under stage lights as it is in your living room. Experience this beautifully crafted collaboration that pairs classic acoustic soul with Taylor's latest innovations. Available now at Haggerty's Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
