If you’re looking for one acoustic that can comfortably move from first chords to rehearsals, recording sessions, and amplified performances, then you’ll find that the Taylor 114ce Sunset Blvd was built around that kind of versatility. Created as part of the Sunset Blvd Collection, this special-edition 114ce draws inspiration from the musical legacy and visual character of Los Angeles' famed Sunset Boulevard while retaining the approachable Grand Auditorium platform that has made Taylor's 100 Series such a popular choice. Its solid torrefied spruce top adds warmth and a more mature character to the familiar clarity and projection of spruce, while layered sapele back and sides keep the response balanced and adaptable across playing styles.

The Grand Auditorium body is central to the guitar's all-purpose personality, providing enough presence for confident strumming while maintaining the articulation and responsiveness needed for fingerstyle work and lighter accompaniment. Taylor's C-Class bracing helps the compactly built acoustic generate additional volume and sustain while supporting clear intonation across the neck. The torrefaction process gives the solid spruce soundboard additional warmth and played-in depth, complementing the focused character of the sapele body. That balance makes the 114ce Sunset Blvd a natural fit for pop, folk, country, contemporary worship, singer-songwriter material, acoustic rock, and virtually any setting where both rhythm and melodic detail matter.

Taylor's Standard Carve mahogany neck, 25.5" scale, white nubone nut, and ebony fingerboard provide the familiar relaxed playing experience associated with the company's modern acoustics, while the Venetian cutaway makes upper-register playing more accessible. Expression System 2 electronics use Taylor's behind-the-saddle pickup design to translate the instrument into an amplifier, PA, or recording system without compromising its clean exterior. Gold Taylor tuners, faux-pearl 50th Anniversary Diamond fingerboard inlays, a tortoise pickguard, black binding, and a West African Crelicam ebony headstock veneer add a more distinctive visual identity to this Sunset Blvd edition without losing the practical, player-focused character of the 114ce. Finished with a distinctive Shaded Edgeburst top, this acoustic is available at Haggerty's Music and includes a soft gig bag.
