Every guitarist deserves an instrument that makes playing feel effortless while inspiring growth with every note. Available now at Haggerty's Music, the Taylor 114ce Special Edition was designed to deliver the renowned playability, clarity, and craftsmanship that have made Taylor one of the world's most respected acoustic builders. Finished in an eye-catching Dark Tobacco Shaded Edgeburst, this limited-edition Grand Auditorium pairs modern Taylor innovation with timeless acoustic tone, creating an instrument equally suited for beginners, seasoned performers, and anyone looking for a dependable companion on stage or at home. It also includes a Taylor gig bag for convenient protection and transport.
At the heart of the 114ce Special Edition is a solid torrefied spruce top, specially roasted to provide the warmth, responsiveness, and mature character of a well-played vintage instrument from the very first strum. Layered sapele back and sides add focused projection, balanced mids, and impressive durability, while Taylor's C-Class bracing allows the top to vibrate more freely for increased volume, enhanced sustain, and exceptional note definition. The versatile Grand Auditorium body shape offers outstanding comfort and a beautifully balanced voice, making this guitar equally at home with fingerstyle arrangements, singer-songwriter accompaniment, and energetic strumming.
Taylor's legendary playing experience is evident in the comfortable Standard Carve mahogany neck, eucalyptus fingerboard, and slim profile that encourages effortless movement across the neck. The onboard Expression System 2 electronics faithfully reproduce the guitar's natural acoustic voice for live performance and recording, while premium appointments including the Crelicam ebony bridge, chrome die-cast tuners, black binding, and distinctive Dark Tobacco Shaded Edgeburst finish give this Special Edition a refined appearance that stands out from the standard lineup. Whether you're performing, recording, or simply enjoying an evening of playing, the Taylor 114ce Special Edition delivers exceptional tone, comfort, and craftsmanship at an outstanding value.

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
