Designed around a comfortable 24.625-inch short scale, the Oso offers a uniquely inviting playing experience that feels immediately familiar while delivering the exceptional fit, finish, and attention to detail for which Suhr is renowned.

Its alder body and roasted maple neck create a lively, balanced tonal foundation with excellent resonance and sustain, while the short scale length adds warmth, effortless string bending, and a slightly softer feel under the fingers. Equipped with a pair of Suhr's acclaimed humbuckers, the SSV in the neck and SSH+ in the bridge, the Oso covers an enormous sonic range, from warm, articulate cleans and vintage-inspired blues tones to classic rock crunch and modern high-gain lead work. The five-way blade switch unlocks additional split-coil combinations, providing convincing single-coil textures alongside the full-bodied humbucker voices, making this an exceptionally versatile instrument for virtually any genre.
