The Suhr Limited Edition Classic S Antique Neoteric HSS Electric Guitar brings timeless S-style character together with the precision, refinement, and versatility that define Suhr craftsmanship. Its two-piece roasted alder body delivers a balanced, articulate voice with a punchy low end, clear mids, and sparkling highs, while the Daphne Blue light-aging lacquer finish gives it the charm of a well-loved classic. Parchment appointments and chrome hardware complete the vintage-inspired look, creating an instrument that feels familiar from the first glance but offers the kind of thoughtful construction that modern players appreciate. Whether you’re digging into expressive blues, crisp funk rhythms, or soaring rock leads, the Classic S is built to respond to every nuance of your playing.
The HSS pickup configuration gives the Classic S Antique Neoteric HSS an especially broad tonal range. V63 Plus single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions deliver the open, articulate response players love for glassy cleans, chiming chords, and expressive note definition, while the SSH bridge humbucker adds extra weight, output, and sustain when it’s time to turn up the gain. A five-way blade switch and straightforward volume and tone controls make it easy to move between sounds, from delicate and shimmering to thick and assertive. The roasted maple neck and fingerboard bring a stable, comfortable feel, with an Even Slim C profile that sits naturally in the hand and a rolled compound 10-to-14-inch fingerboard radius that accommodates everything from relaxed chord work to smooth bends and fast lead playing.
Designed to feel as dependable as it is expressive, the Classic S Antique Neoteric HSS features 22 medium frets, a 25.5-inch scale length, and a 1.65-inch nut width for a familiar, responsive playing experience. Suhr locking tuners help keep tuning changes secure, while the recessed two-post tremolo with solid saddles and a steel block offers smooth pitch movement and reliable return. Luminlay side dots provide helpful visibility on darker stages, and the black Tusq nut adds another carefully considered detail to this finely finished instrument. With its vintage-inspired appearance, modern playability, and HSS versatility, this limited-edition Classic S is equally at home in the studio, onstage, or wherever inspiration strikes. Available now at Haggerty's Music.
