Power without the compromise. Stringjoy Broadways Classic Medium Gauge (11-48) are engineered for the player who demands the thick, full-range tonality of heavier strings but refuses to sacrifice the bendability of a lighter set. By combining a highly-compressed pure nickel wrap with a specialized round core, these strings deliver a vintage-inspired "fat" tone with unmatched expressiveness.
Now available at Haggerty’s Music, the Broadway 11s are the perfect upgrade for electric players looking to bridge the gap between massive output and effortless playability.
Heavyweight Tone with Lightweight Flexibility
The Broadway series redefines the expectations for pure nickel strings, offering a "no trade-off" solution for serious tone seekers.
- Maximum Pure Nickel Content: These strings utilize a highly-compressed pure nickel over-wrap, packing more nickel onto the core than standard sets. This results in a rich, warm, and harmonically dense character that captures the soulful sound of early rock and blues.
- Flexible Round Core Design: While traditional 11s can feel stiff, the Broadways utilize a thin but incredibly strong round steel core. This unique construction provides the flexibility and "slinky" feel usually reserved for 10-gauge sets, making wide vibrato and multi-step bends feel natural.
- Full-Range Sonic Punch: Expect a "meatier" response across the entire frequency spectrum. Your low strings will growl with more authority, and your high strings will sing with a rounded, vocal quality that cuts through the mix without being harsh.
- Classic Medium Gauge (11-48): This .011 - .048 set provides the perfect tension for players with a heavier attack or those who prefer the increased resonance and sustain of a thicker string.
