Handmade in Guangzhou, China by skilled luthiers, the STV-600 is carefully graduated to encourage a powerful, refined voice with the responsiveness needed as a player's technique and musical expression develop.

Traditional tonewoods form the foundation of the STV-600, with a European spruce top paired with a highly flamed Chinese maple back. Ebony is used for the fingerboard and fittings, while genuine inlaid purfling provides both traditional visual detail and an additional mark of thoughtful construction. A Hill-style chinrest extends over the tailpiece for a familiar classical setup, and the composite tailpiece incorporates a single fine tuner. Dominant strings complete the playing setup, providing a well-established combination valued for its balanced response and versatile tonal character.
