Thin Ride/Crash Cymbal Pad with Organic Motion and Feel
Upgrade your electronic drum kit with the Roland V-Cymbal CY-16R-T, a versatile ride/crash cymbal controller designed for ultimate realism. Featuring a significantly thinner profile than previous generations, the CY-16R-T delivers an organic and expressive playing experience. Drummers will immediately notice the even response, improved stick feel, and a natural acoustic swinging motion that perfectly mimics a traditional cymbal. Plus, its elegant textured design projects an authentic acoustic look that looks right at home on stage.
Unmatched Versatility & Triggering
Whether you need a dynamic crash or a nuanced ride, the CY-16R-T easily adapts to your playing style.
- Flexible Configuration: In most V-Drums modules, you can configure the sensor system for use as a ride cymbal (bow/bell) or a crash cymbal (bow/edge).
- Advanced 3-Way Triggering: When paired with advanced V-Drums modules (utilizing two connection cables), you can experience true three-way triggering with independent sounds on the edge, bow, and bell.
- Authentic Choking: Need to mute your sound fast? Choke the cymbal instantly simply by grabbing the edge—exactly like you would with a real acoustic cymbal.
(Please note: Specific CY-16R-T trigger parameters are not available in all V-Drums modules.)

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing options are available at checkout. Monthly payment options are designed to make high-ticket purchases more accessible without requiring full payment upfront.
