Play All Night with the Roland FD-9 Hi-Hat Control Pedal at Haggerty's Music!
Love playing your electronic kit at home but hate the noise your pedals make? Traditional acoustic shells are impossible for late-night sessions, and even electronic kits can be disruptive to family and neighbors because of mechanical pedal noise.
Say goodbye to complaints and hello to the Roland FD-9 Hi-Hat Control Pedal—the smartest way to drive down decibels without sacrificing your feel!
Designed for ultra-quiet home practice, this compact pedal features a patent-pending link mechanism that dramatically reduces operational noise. With the FD-9, you can play as hard as you like, as late as you want!
Key Features for the Modern Drummer
- Ultra-Quiet Operation: Experience 50% less noise in your practice room and 15% less noise transferred to rooms below compared to a standard hi-hat pedal.
- Authentic Hi-Hat Feel: Designed for expressive players. Enjoy completely smooth transitions between open, closed, and half-open positions, and pull off aggressive hi-hat splashes effortlessly.
- Familiar Acoustic Touches: Built with solid feet for total stability and a traditional toe-stopper to replicate the feel of an acoustic pedal.
- Compact & Easy Setup: A lightweight, all-in-one design with a small footprint that fits perfectly into any home setup.
- Ultimate Compatibility: Connects seamlessly with any Roland V-Drums sound module featuring ¼-inch trigger inputs, as well as the OCTAPAD SPD-30 and HandSonic HPD-20.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing options are available at checkout. Monthly payment options are designed to make high-ticket purchases more accessible without requiring full payment upfront.
