The Reverend Flatroc brings together vintage-inspired style, distinctive tone, and modern Reverend craftsmanship in a guitar that’s equal parts character and versatility. With its retro aesthetic and unique pickup pairing, the Flatroc delivers a clean yet warm twang that stands out in any mix. Built around Reverend’s resonant Korina body and paired with a roasted maple neck, this guitar offers lively response, strong sustain, and the harmonic richness that has become a hallmark of Reverend instruments.
At the core of the Flatroc’s voice are Reverend’s Retroblast pickups, designed to deliver articulate clarity with a slightly thicker character than traditional single-coils. The result is a tone that balances sparkle and warmth, making it perfect for styles like rockabilly, roots rock, indie, blues, and alternative. Reverend’s signature Bass Contour control adds another layer of versatility, allowing players to tighten the low end or reshape the pickup voicing — from full-bodied warmth to sharper, more cutting tones.
The addition of a Bigsby B-50 vibrato with a roller bridge brings smooth, expressive pitch modulation while maintaining reliable tuning stability thanks to Reverend’s Pin-Lock tuners and Boneite nut. Combined with the comfortable Medium Oval neck profile and a sleek Venetian Pearl finish, the Flatroc is a stylish and expressive instrument that blends vintage inspiration with modern reliability and tonal flexibility.
