The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow Reclaimed Limited is a rare fusion of sustainability, sonic versatility, and artisanal craftsmanship. Limited to just 700 pieces worldwide, this distinctive model tells a story through its reclaimed wood components — each piece a living artifact transformed into a high-performance electric guitar. The top is crafted from aged Peroba Rosa, reclaimed from old Brazilian buildings, complete with natural imperfections that celebrate the wood’s prior life. Add to that a neck made from Cuban mahogany — including wood salvaged from trees felled by Hurricane Maria — and a fretboard of Guaribu Preto, historically used as house supports, and you get a truly one-of-a-kind instrument that connects music and history in a tangible way.

Beyond its aesthetic and material uniqueness, this S2 Special Reclaimed delivers immense tonal flexibility. Its semi-hollow body with a single F-hole provides warmth, resonance, and a touch of airiness, while the 58/15 LT humbuckers and Narrowfield middle pickup give you everything from crystalline single-coil tones to thick, vintage humbucking punch. With a 5-way blade selector and two mini-toggle coil-split switches, players can explore 12 different pickup combinations, making this one of the most sonically diverse guitars PRS has ever released.
