The Martin SC-13E Modern Mezcal Burst is a revolutionary acoustic-electric designed to bridge the gap between acoustic warmth and electric playability. Introduced as part of Martin’s progressive SC Series, this guitar reimagines traditional acoustic design with a bold approach to comfort, access, and tone. Its distinctive Sure Align neck system and patented cutaway design allow full fretboard access like never before on an acoustic — ideal for players who push boundaries and need a guitar that can keep up, whether they’re fingerpicking intricate passages or delivering lead lines with ease.
This special Mezcal Burst edition adds an extra touch of visual flair with a vibrant gloss sunburst finish over a solid spruce top. Paired with koa fine veneer back and sides, the SC-13E delivers balanced tone with rich midrange and smooth top-end sparkle. Under the hood, a custom Tone Tension X-Brace boosts sustain, volume, and clarity, while the Low Profile Velocity neck ensures a fast, effortless playing feel across the entire fingerboard. The result is a guitar that feels like an electric and sounds like a classic Martin — clear, resonant, and dynamic.
Whether you’re a stage performer, songwriter, or modern fingerstyle player, the SC-13E’s versatility makes it a standout in nearly any setting. Plugged in, it shines just as brightly thanks to LR Baggs Element electronics, offering natural, studio-quality amplified tone. With contemporary appointments like ziricote inlays, skeletonized Ratio tuners, and a faux tortoise pickguard, this guitar doesn't just sound and feel great — it looks the part, too. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, it’s all housed in a durable softshell gig bag, making the SC-13E Modern Mezcal Burst ready for the road.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
