The Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought in Guatemalan Rosewood is a striking example of what’s possible when time-honored tradition meets elevated custom detail. Built around the powerful dreadnought platform, this one-of-a-kind instrument delivers the headroom, authority, and projection players expect—refined by premium materials and thoughtful, high-end appointments throughout.

A clear-finished Adirondack spruce top provides exceptional dynamic range and clarity, brought to life by Adirondack VTS scalloped 5/16” bracing for a more open, responsive voice right out of the case. The Guatemalan rosewood back and sides contribute deep piano-like lows, shimmering highs, and complex harmonic overtones, while European flamed maple binding frames the body with elegant contrast. A Style 45 Black Maple Fiber/Antique White rosette adds another layer of visual sophistication.

The Vintage Deluxe neck profile offers a comfortable, substantial feel that nods to pre-war inspiration, paired with a glossy finish and a smooth black ebony fingerboard. Intricate Alternate Torch inlays in select abalone grace the fingerboard, bridge, and headplate, creating a cohesive and ornate visual theme that immediately sets this build apart.

A modern belly ebony bridge features matching Alternate Torch inlay and is reinforced with a carbon fiber plate underneath for enhanced strength and long-term stability.
