This Martin Custom Shop 00 Flamed Mahogany Acoustic Guitar in 1935 Sunburst is a finely crafted small-body guitar that combines vintage-inspired aesthetics with exceptional tonal clarity and balance. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this model features a standard Western red cedar top paired with stunning flamed mahogany back and sides, producing a warm, focused tone with rich midrange character. The 1935 Sunburst finish enhances its vintage appeal, while European flamed maple binding adds a premium touch. Scalloped 1/4” spruce bracing maximizes resonance and responsiveness, making it an excellent choice for fingerstyle players or those seeking a more intimate sound.
The black ebony fingerboard and bridge, combined with bone nut and saddle, provide precise note articulation and sustain. Diamond and Squares Short inlays with select abalone add elegant detailing, while the slotted headstock with old-style gold decal underscores the guitar’s classic design. A low-profile neck and 24.9” scale length ensure smooth, comfortable playability. The guitar comes complete with Waverly open-gear tuners for exceptional tuning stability and a hardshell case for safe transport.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
