The Martin CEO-11 is a statement piece in every sense—an instrument designed not just to be played, but to inspire. Conceived by Martin President and CEO Thomas Ripsam, it carries a clear artistic vision that blends tradition with something more expressive and personal. From the first strum, it feels alive in your hands, with a voice that encourages exploration and rewards nuance, making it just as much about the journey as the destination.
The Grand Auditorium body shape offers a beautifully balanced platform, delivering strong projection with a refined, even response across the strings. Its FSC-certified European spruce top pairs with figured white oak back and sides to create a tone that feels both powerful and detailed—tight, articulate lows, a rich and present midrange, and shimmering highs that never feel harsh. It’s a sound that holds together effortlessly whether you’re playing solo or alongside others, always maintaining clarity and depth.
Visually, the CEO-11 stands apart with its New Horizons blue burst top, contrasted by darker-toned sides and elevated by flamed maple binding and intricate inlay work. Every detail feels intentional, from the custom rosette to the symbolic headplate design, giving the guitar a sense of identity that goes beyond aesthetics. It’s bold without being overwhelming, artistic without losing its sense of purpose.
Plugged in, the Fishman Aura VT Blend system captures that same organic voice, translating the guitar’s natural character with warmth and realism. With only 1,111 instruments produced, it carries a sense of rarity that matches its individuality. Available at Haggerty’s Music, the CEO-11 is built for players who want more than just great tone—it’s for those who want an instrument that reflects their creativity and evolves with them.

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
