It is in Excellent condition with a small white scuff on th back of the upper body to the right of the neck, scratching on the back of the tuners, and light fret wear on the lower frets that does not effect playability.

The LR Baggs AEG-1 is the kind of acoustic-electric that makes you rethink what a thin-bodied guitar can sound like. Built from a luthier's perspective, it was designed to preserve the natural voice and responsiveness that can sometimes get lost when an acoustic guitar is built primarily around amplification. The sleek, comfortable body feels easy to handle, but the sound has surprising depth, warmth, and low-end presence, giving you an acoustic experience that feels much larger than the guitar's profile suggests.

Much of that character comes from the innovative neck support system, which allows the top and back to respond more freely instead of being overbuilt to carry the neck. More of the string energy makes its way into the top, opening up the guitar's dynamics and giving individual notes a beautifully responsive quality. The custom U.S.-made poplar ply construction provides a strong, lightweight foundation while allowing the resonant top and back to do their work, resulting in an instrument that's as interesting from a design standpoint as it is rewarding to play.

Plugged in, the AEG-1 really comes into its own with the LR Baggs HiFi bridge plate pickups and Silo microphone working together to capture both the clarity of the strings and the open character of the guitar. The studio-grade preamp blends those sources smoothly, letting you move from direct and focused to spacious and airy with the turn of a knob. With controls for volume, pickup/mic blend, tone, and phase, it's remarkably easy to find a sound that feels natural on stage or in the studio.
