The Legator N8FSS-DV 8-String Multi-Scale Electric Guitar is designed for the progressive guitarist who demands cutting-edge tone, comfort, and aggressive style in one package. A standout member of Legator’s Ninja Overdrive series, the N8FSS is purpose-built for technical players who traverse low tunings, extended range, and complex compositions. The sleek, headless body design and 26.5"–27.5" multi-scale neck provide excellent tension balance across all eight strings, giving you tighter lows and slinkier highs — perfect for everything from djent to ambient fusion. The satin-finished, lightweight mahogany body paired with a visually arresting Buckeye Burl maple top keeps this guitar both ergonomic and stage-ready, while the slim profile ensures effortless playability in any position.
What really sets the N8FSS apart is its carefully chosen tonewood and component synergy. The bolt-on, 3-piece maple neck and compound-radius Richlite fingerboard offer a smooth, durable playing surface that remains stable under heavy use. Legator's proprietary Aftershock active humbuckers, paired with a 3-way blade switch and master controls, provide articulate, high-output tones that remain focused and noise-free — ideal for both rhythm chugs and soaring lead work. Combined with a carbon fiber-reinforced truss rod and a custom brass multiscale bridge, the N8FSS offers bulletproof tuning stability and intonation across all registers.
Whether you're touring, recording, or pushing the boundaries of modern metal, the Legator N8FSS-DV is a formidable tool that’s ready to meet the challenge. With its futuristic silhouette, player-centric features, and bold aesthetic, it’s more than just an extended range guitar — it’s a statement of intent. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
