The José Marques Tradicional Classical Guitar is a masterfully handcrafted instrument built in the traditional style, influenced by legendary Spanish, German, and French luthiers. Years of meticulous study and craftsmanship have culminated in this exceptional model, reflecting the finest elements of classical guitar construction.
This guitar features a Brazilian rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) back and sides, known for its deep, rich tonal qualities and stunning visual appeal. The red cedar (Thuja plicata) soundboard enhances warmth and projection, making it ideal for expressive, nuanced performances. The African mahogany (Khaya ivorensis) neck provides a comfortable playing experience, while the ebony (Diospyros ebenum) fingerboard ensures smooth playability and durability. The Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia) bridge contributes to the instrument’s exceptional sustain and clarity.
With a 650mm scale length, Barnett machine heads, and a cow bone nut and saddle, this guitar is meticulously designed for precision and responsiveness. The French polish finish enhances the natural resonance of the wood while maintaining a classic, elegant aesthetic.

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
