The JHS Pedals Wanderer brings two of the most beloved overdrive flavors together in one compact pedal, combining the familiar bite and touch-sensitive response of the Morning Glory V4 with the rich, mid-focused drive of the NOTAKLÖN. Whether you’re chasing the edge-of-breakup feel of a cranked vintage amp or pushing into thicker, more assertive lead tones, these two circuits cover an impressive range of sounds on their own and become even more versatile when stacked. Each side has its own set of controls for dialing in the right amount of gain, volume, and tonal character, while the Morning Glory’s Bright Cut switch helps tame excessive high end when needed. From subtle warmth and added punch to full-bodied overdrive, the Wanderer gives you a complete drive section without taking over your pedalboard.

What really sets the JHS Pedals Wanderer apart is the freedom to configure it around your rig. Use the main input and output for a traditional two-in-one setup, with the center toggle selecting which circuit comes first, or connect the individual inputs and outputs to treat each side as a completely separate pedal. That means you can place a compressor, fuzz, or other effect between the two circuits, or assign each one to its own loop on a switcher. Both sides also feature Red Remote connections, giving you footswitch access to their alternate gain modes. The Morning Glory adds another gain stage, a slight volume boost, and a fuller response, while the NOTAKLÖN’s Shamrock Mod delivers extra gain, more pronounced mids, and an additional stage of hard clipping. Together, these options provide four distinct gain voices ready to call up as your playing demands.

From clean boost to saturated overdrive, the NOTAKLÖN can push an already-breaking-up amp with up to 16 dB of boost, while the Morning Glory supplies everything from transparent low-gain texture to a more aggressive high-gain sound. Run them in either order, stack them for added sustain and presence, or separate them entirely for maximum control over your signal chain. Top-mounted jacks keep the layout pedalboard-friendly, and silent soft-touch switching with buffered bypass makes the Wanderer a practical choice for both stage and studio. Powered by a standard 9V DC center-negative supply, the JHS Pedals Wanderer packs two classic drive approaches, expanded switching, and unusually flexible routing into one thoughtfully designed enclosure. Available now at Haggerty's Music.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?
