Built for crushing riffs and unmistakable stage presence, the Ibanez K7YANG Brian Head Welch Signature 7 String Electric Guitar in Matte White is a bold return to form for one of nu-metal’s most influential players. Designed in collaboration with Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch, this striking instrument embodies the raw intensity and atmospheric depth that define his sound, pairing a sleek matte white finish with gold hardware for a visual that feels as powerful as it looks. Rooted in the legacy of Ibanez’s iconic 7-string lineage, the K7YANG carries forward a tradition that helped shape an entire genre. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this guitar is ready to deliver the same commanding presence heard on stages worldwide.
Under the hood, the K7YANG is engineered for precision and performance. A nyatoh body with a maple top is matched to a fast-playing 5-piece maple and walnut Wizard II-7 neck, offering stability and effortless speed across all 24 jumbo frets. The rosewood fingerboard features a distinctive K-7 inlay and luminescent side dots, ensuring both style and visibility in any lighting. Equipped with DiMarzio Blaze humbuckers, this guitar is voiced specifically for extended-range clarity, delivering tight low-end response and aggressive articulation without muddying your tone—perfect for down-tuned riffing in Welch’s preferred A standard tuning.
What truly sets the K7YANG apart is its uncompromising reliability and stage-ready functionality. The EverTune bridge system works seamlessly with Gotoh tuning machines to maintain near-perfect intonation, even under the most aggressive playing conditions, while the streamlined control layout—a single volume knob and 3-way selector—keeps your focus on performance. Every detail reflects a player-first design philosophy, making this guitar not just a signature model, but a tool for serious musicians chasing massive tone and unwavering consistency. Find your sound and make it hit harder than ever with the K7YANG, available at Haggerty’s Music.
