The Gibson Victory Figured Top brings an underrated classic back into the spotlight, blending the bold spirit of its 1980s predecessor with the performance modern players have been asking for. Redesigned for improved comfort, balance, and versatility, the Victory is built for guitarists who refuse to be limited by a single style or sound. Its striking double-cutaway body and beautifully figured maple top ensure it looks every bit as impressive as it performs.
A mahogany body paired with an AA figured maple cap delivers a rich, resonant voice with plenty of warmth, clarity, and punch, while the 25.5-inch scale length keeps lower tunings tight and articulate. The fast SlimTaper mahogany neck, compound-radius ebony fretboard, and 24 frets invite effortless lead work and comfortable rhythm playing across the entire neck. Two 80s Tribute humbuckers provide everything from thick, driving rock tones to crisp, articulate single-coil-inspired sounds thanks to push/pull controls for coil splitting and coil selection. Whether you’re dialing in vintage crunch, soaring leads, or modern high-gain aggression, the Victory responds with impressive flexibility.
Finished with premium appointments like Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stop Bar tailpiece, the Victory Figured Top is built to deliver dependable performance night after night. It captures the attitude of a cult classic while embracing the versatility today’s musicians expect, making it a standout choice for players who want one guitar that can truly do it all. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
