Based on a rediscovered 1957 Gibson design, the Theodore Standard blends vintage inspiration with modern craftsmanship for a truly distinctive playing experience. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this model features a lightweight mahogany body with bold double Florentine cutaways for full fretboard access, paired with a SlimTaper mahogany neck topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The scimitar headstock is fitted with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners for rock-solid stability, while an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stop bar tailpiece deliver excellent sustain and resonance. Outfitted with a ’57 Classic neck pickup and a ’57 Classic Plus bridge pickup, it offers a versatile tonal palette ranging from warm vintage cleans to articulate, harmonically rich overdrive. Finished in Vintage Cherry and protected by a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this Theodore Standard comes complete with a hardshell case and Gibson accessory kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
