First introduced in 1932, the Gibson L-00 Special carries forward one of Gibson’s most iconic small-body designs, delivering a focused, nuanced voice that sits beautifully in any mix. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, this USA-built acoustic features a solid Sitka spruce top with traditional scalloped X-bracing and solid mahogany back and sides, producing a balanced tone with excellent dynamic range, a tight low end, and articulate mids that shine for fingerstyle, blues, and roots-driven playing.

A comfortable SlimTaper neck with a rosewood fretboard makes long sessions effortless, while quality details like a Tusq nut and saddle, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, and satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish complete the classic feel. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle pickup and soundhole-mounted volume control, the L-00 Special is ready for stage or studio straight out of the included premium soft shell case, and is available at Haggerty’s Music.
