Classic style meets historic tone in the Gibson Custom Shop 1964 SG Standard with Maestro, a faithful recreation of one of Gibson’s most iconic models. Finished in a distinctive TV White gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this floor model captures the spirit of mid-60s rock with its instantly recognizable double-cutaway mahogany body and bound rosewood fingerboard. The ’64 SG neck profile offers period-accurate feel and fast, lived-in playability across the 24.75" scale length.
Outfitted with a pair of Gibson Custombucker humbuckers, this SG delivers articulate, full-bodied tone with vintage warmth and dynamic clarity. The Maestro Vibrola tailpiece not only provides smooth, expressive pitch bends, but also enhances the guitar’s visual flair. Additional features include Kluson Deluxe tuners, an ABR-1 bridge, trapezoid inlays, and traditional SG control layout. This floor model has been inspected for playability and comes with a Gibson hardshell case. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
