At its core, the carved Sitka spruce top and figured red maple back and sides create a classic tonal combination that’s fast, focused, and richly resonant. The spruce top brings immediate attack and projection, while the maple adds brightness, definition, and a controlled low-end that keeps every note separated and distinct.
