The Fulltone OCD is one of those overdrive pedals that quickly became a benchmark for what a great boutique drive should feel like. Rather than simply adding distortion, the OCD responds to your picking dynamics with the lively, touch-sensitive character of a pushed tube amp. Dig in and it gets thicker and more aggressive; back off and the sound cleans up naturally, making it equally comfortable handling gritty rhythm work, bluesy breakup and saturated lead tones.

The simple control layout keeps the focus on the playing experience. Volume, Drive and Tone give you plenty of room to shape everything from a nearly transparent boost to a full, harmonically rich overdrive, while the High Peak/Low Peak switch lets you choose between a more aggressive, gain-forward voice and a cleaner, more open response. Running the pedal at up to 18 volts also gives it additional headroom, making the OCD especially responsive when you want your guitar's natural dynamics to remain front and center.
