Crafted as part of the Fender Stories Collection, the Brent Mason Signature Telecaster pays tribute to one of the most respected session guitarists in modern music. Mason’s signature model is based on his legendary 1967 Telecaster, which he discovered in a Nashville guitar shop in the early ’80s — stripped of its original finish and resprayed in auto primer gray. Over time, Brent transformed it into the ultimate studio workhorse, outfitting it with a unique pickup configuration, custom wiring, and the addition of a Glaser B-Bender system to suit his distinctive Nashville sound.

This Telecaster captures every nuance of Mason's original modded instrument, including the trio of Seymour Duncan pickups — a mini humbucker in the neck, Hot Stack Strat in the middle, and Vintage Stack Tele in the bridge — allowing for a wide palette of tones that can shift effortlessly from vintage twang to smooth jazz or rock grit. Add in the B-Bender and a push/pull tone control to engage or bypass the middle pickup, and you've got a remarkably flexible tool for stage or studio.
