The Fender Custom Shop NAMM 2025 #342 Set Neck Fiji Mahogany Telecaster Relic is a Tele with a decidedly different personality. Built by Apprentice Builder Dan Gonzales, it pairs a Fiji mahogany body and set mahogany neck with an Aged Pelham Blue finish and crisp white binding, giving the familiar Tele silhouette a richer, more refined character. The 60s-style oval C neck feels substantial without getting in the way, while the 12" radius and medium jumbo frets provide an easy, modern playing experience.

The pickup combination is where this Tele really comes alive. A Curtis Novak Narrow Range P-90 in the neck brings a warm, muscular voice with plenty of detail, while the Josefina Handwound Nocaster bridge pickup delivers the sharp attack, twang and bite that make a Tele so addictive. Together, they cover a surprisingly broad range of sounds, from thick and expressive neck tones to cutting country snap, bluesy grit and classic rock rhythm.

With its Relic treatment, parchment pickguard, rosewood fingerboard and carefully chosen vintage-inspired appointments, this Custom Shop Telecaster feels like a guitar with a story already behind it. The Nocaster bridge with RSD saddles, bone nut and pearl-button tuners round out an instrument built as much for playing as it is for admiring. Limited-edition Custom Shop guitars like this don't come around often, and this one offers a particularly compelling blend of Fender history, boutique-level touches and unmistakable Tele attitude.
