The Fender Custom Shop LR25-CUST DLX HBS-1 Heavy Relic Stratocaster is a masterbuilt-inspired instrument that blends vintage character with modern versatility in a way only the Custom Shop can deliver. Finished in a striking Black over 3-Tone Sunburst Heavy Relic, this guitar tells the story of decades of hard playing, smoky stages, and road-worn soul — without sacrificing precision or reliability. It captures the spirit of a well-loved mid-’60s Strat while incorporating thoughtful upgrades for today’s players who demand more tonal flexibility and performance.

At its core, this Strat is built for dynamic expression. The pairing of hand-wound ’69 Strat pickups in the neck and middle positions delivers classic glassy highs, scooped mids, and that unmistakable vintage chime. In contrast, the Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck (SH-4) humbucker in the bridge brings modern punch, sustain, and aggressive midrange — perfect for pushing into rock and high-gain territory.
