The Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Stratocaster blends the unmistakable soul of a vintage Strat with the modern refinements serious players demand. Handcrafted in the Fender Custom Shop, this 2004 example captures everything that has made the Stratocaster an enduring icon while adding thoughtful updates that make it feel fast, reliable, and ready for today's stage or studio. Finished in timeless 3-Tone Burst, it's a guitar that looks every bit as inspiring as it sounds.

Built around a resonant alder body and finished in a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer, this Custom Classic has a lively, open voice that continues to mature with every hour it's played. The comfortable Modern C maple neck, paired with a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, offers effortless playability for everything from vintage-inspired rhythm work to expressive modern lead playing. A trio of single-coil pickups, including a hotter bridge pickup, delivers the unmistakable Strat sparkle, glassy cleans, and articulate bite that have shaped generations of music. The no-load tone control expands its tonal range even further, while the two-point synchronized tremolo and Fender/Schaller locking tuners provide exceptional tuning stability and smooth performance.

Whether you're a collector looking for a standout Custom Shop build or a working guitarist searching for an instrument that excels night after night, the 2004 Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Stratocaster offers the best of both worlds. It combines handcrafted attention to detail, premium components, and timeless Fender character into a guitar that's as inspiring to play as it is to admire. Experience this exceptional Custom Shop Stratocaster for yourself. Available now at Haggerty's Music.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you set up every guitar before it ships?

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?

We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.

Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?

Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing options are available at checkout. Monthly payment options are designed to make high-ticket purchases more accessible without requiring full payment upfront.
