The Fender Custom Shop LTD ’51 Telecaster Relic is a masterclass in vintage authenticity, crafted to honor the golden era of early Fender electrics while giving modern players an instrument that feels lived-in from the first note. Its ash body, finished in a worn lacquer, showcases the Nocaster relic aesthetic, capturing the subtle wear, dings, and aged charm of a guitar that has spent decades on stage and in studios. The 52 Tele Parchment relic pickguard, chrome control knobs, and vintage-style tuners complete the visual story, making this Tele a piece of playable history.

Built for feel as much as tone, the riftsawn maple neck features a 10/56 “V” profile, a 9.5” radius fingerboard, and 21 narrow-tall frets, paired with a bone nut that ensures smooth string action and precise intonation. Its bolt-on neck and nitro finish provide the comfort and familiarity players expect from a classic Telecaster.

Under the hood, Fender’s handwound 50-51 Blackguard single-coil pickups deliver the chiming, biting tone that made the Telecaster legendary, complemented by Fat ’50s Tele-style volume and tone controls and a three-way switch for versatile sonic options.
