The Fender Blues Junior IV is one of the most-loved small combo amps out there, delivering 15 watts of warm, stage-ready tube tone in a compact, grab-and-go format. Loaded with a 12” Celestion A-Type speaker, it dishes out smooth highs, relaxed mids, and full, round lows that sit beautifully in a mix. The updated preamp circuitry adds extra fullness and clarity, while the modified spring reverb keeps things lush and dimensional without getting harsh. This particular unit has had a professional rebias performed to address the well-known factory “hot bias” found in many Blues Junior amps. The bias was adjusted to a more optimal range—around 70% plate dissipation—which helps reduce excess heat and extend power tube life while maintaining the amp’s signature tone and response. The power tubes were also upgraded from the original factory tubes, but this change is separate from the bias adjustment and does not require any special tube types going forward. With its classic Fender styling, steel-reinforced handle, and included footswitch for the FAT mid boost, this used Blues Junior IV delivers dependable tone with a thoughtful reliability upgrade.
