The Fender American Professional Classic Jaguar captures the unmistakable cool of a golden-era offset while refining it for the demands of modern players. Its alder body keeps the response lively and balanced, with crisp attack, airy resonance, and the compact 24” scale feel that has made Jaguars so addictive in the hands. Finished in a beautifully aged-inspired metallic shade with tortoiseshell guard, it carries the kind of visual character that turns heads before a note is played.
The Modern C maple neck feels fast, familiar, and immediately comfortable, with a satin finish that stays smooth through long rehearsals and hot stage lights alike. Paired with a 9.5” rosewood fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, and a player-friendly setup, it blends vintage attitude with an easier modern touch. The floating tremolo and Mustang-saddle bridge preserve that expressive Jaguar character, while staggered ClassicGear tuners add classic Fender style with precise, dependable stability.
At the heart of the sound are Coastline ’65 Jaguar pickups, slightly overwound from vintage inspiration to bring added warmth, punch, and sparkling top-end without losing the signature snap these guitars are loved for. Clean tones resonate with depth, driven sounds stay articulate, and the strangle circuit adds that sharp, cutting edge when needed. Fender’s Greasebucket tone system lets you roll off highs without muddying the signal or swelling the low end, keeping every setting usable and musical. Available at Haggerty’s Music, this Jaguar delivers timeless soul with modern confidence.
