The Fender American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster in Faded Lake Placid Blue blends timeless Fender style with thoughtful modern upgrades built for today’s working players. Its alder body delivers the balanced resonance and punch that has defined countless classic recordings, while the softly faded finish gives the guitar a well-loved, vintage-inspired character right out of the case. The Modern “C” maple neck and 9.5” radius fingerboard create a comfortable, familiar feel that makes the instrument easy to play for long sessions on stage or in the studio.
Tonally, the Hotshot Telecaster expands on classic Fender sounds with a versatile three-pickup configuration. A pair of Coastline ’63 Telecaster single-coils in the neck and bridge deliver the familiar snap, clarity, and twang Tele players love, while the Coastline ’57 Stratocaster middle pickup—wound RWRP for hum-canceling in the in-between positions—adds extra sparkle and glassy character. Slightly overwound from vintage spec, these pickups provide enhanced warmth and punch while still capturing the articulate, chime-filled voice that defines classic Fender single-coils.
Vintage-style hardware completes the design, including the classic three-brass saddle bridge that helps deliver the unmistakable snap and character Telecasters are famous for. Staggered ClassicGear tuners provide reliable tuning stability, while Fender’s Greasebucket tone system allows players to roll back treble without muddying the sound or adding excess bass. With its blend of vintage influence, modern playability, and striking faded finish, the American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster is built to feel instantly familiar while offering expanded tonal versatility.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
