This model pays homage to the distressed Ivory-over-black Wolfgang Eddie used as a replacement for his number-one guitar during the 2015 "Different Kind of Truth" tour, carrying forward the battle-worn appearance and performance-first philosophy behind his personal instruments. Available now at Haggerty's Music, this 2026 limited-edition Wolfgang combines that touring-era aesthetic with a deliberately distressed Ivory finish, and it includes an EVH Striped Series gig bag.

The Wolfgang platform reflects Eddie's decades-long pursuit of an instrument that could keep up with an unusually physical playing style. Its basswood body and graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck provide a responsive foundation, while the hand-rubbed satin urethane neck finish, Wolfgang backshape, and 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fingerboard are designed to make everything from wide rhythm stretches to rapid upper-register leads feel natural. Twenty-two jumbo frets reinforce that fast, expressive character, and the heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel makes neck-relief adjustments readily accessible. The EVH Floyd Rose locking tremolo provides the foundation for aggressive vibrato work, while the D-Tuna makes the transition between standard and Drop D tuning quick and practical.

Direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang humbuckers give the guitar the combination of output, articulation, sustain, and harmonic detail needed to move from articulate rhythm work to saturated lead tones. The controls are equally performance-oriented: a low-friction 500K volume pot facilitates rapid volume swells, while the high-friction 250K tone pot is designed to resist accidental movement during aggressive playing.
